I am Jeff Clark, founder of Internet Brothers, producer of this blog, and passionate about hiking. I live in Western NC near the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains. This is Sugarloaf Mountain, across the Broad River valley. Shumont Mountain is the one Rumbling Bald spurs from. You can tell because of the Bottomless Pools arm of Lake Lure in the center. Chimney Rock is just off picture to the right.
