Heel That Pain Heel Seats

Does plantar fasciitis cause you foot pain? Perhaps you can get some relief from the patented Heel Seats manufactured by Heel That Pain of Yorba Linda, CA. Their unique Fascia-Bar™ technology is clinically proven effective with a > 90% success rate. 31 of 32 participants in a double blind clinical trial asked to keep the HTP treatments after the study concluded.

Disclosure: Heel That Pain contacted me to try their HTP Heel Seats at no cost to me. My only responsibility was an agreement to complete this review after trying the item. I was not pressured in any way to make a positive endorsement.

Crafted of soft Kraton™, these orthotics are built to stand up to daily wear. No worries here about stinky inserts. Just toss them in the washing machine. And there’s one extra reason you’ll feel great walking pain-free again with HTP Heel Seats: a portion of your purchase price goes to Samaritans Feet International so that Heel That Pain products can be distributed free to heel pain sufferers in poverty-stricken areas of the world.

While I’m not presently suffering from plantar fasciitis, I have in the past, and I know it can be extremely painful. If you enjoy getting out in the woods hiking on a regular basis like I do, a repetitive stress injury like plantar fasciitis can put a real cramp in your lifestyle. My experience was that rest was the only true solution to the pain of plantar fasciitis. It’s hard to hike when you are staying off your feet. So a heel cup orthotic insert than can relieve pain while still enabling you to enjoy hiking can be a nice enhancement.

HTP Heel Seats were developed to treat conditions involving the plantar fascia ligament and heel. They can be worn in any pair of shoes that have a closed backing on the heel. Unlike some orthotics, HTP Heel Seats do not have adhesive components, meaning that you can easily lift them out and place them in whichever pair of shoes you plan to wear each day.

The Heel Seats were easy to insert into my hiking boots. When I first put my foot in the boot, it felt a little strange because of the additional height of the Heel Seat, but it only took me perhaps 15-20 steps to get used to that. I wore the Heel Seats on two different hikes… one of about three miles and the other of about seven. If I hadn’t been reminding myself to pay attention to my feet, I wouldn’t have even noticed I was using the inserts. They were that comfortable.

Since I don’t have plantar fasciitis at this time, I can’t tell you if the pain relief actually works, but I can see how it might. The fascia-bar support increases the density of the fat pad under the heel to provide more comfort while letting your body begin to heal itself. You won’t be straining your plantar ligaments as much. Most people who use the Heel Seats on a daily basis will feel some relief in about a week. For chronic sufferers, committing to daily wear of these specialized orthotics, combined with adequate rest, icing and heel stretches, will make complete healing possible in the least amount of time.

I intend to wear the HTP Heel Seats all the time now while hiking. They provide additional cushion and comfort in my boots, and they relieve strain on my plantar ligaments helping to prevent inflammation. If you are experiencing plantar fasciitis and try this product, I would love to hear from you in the comments below. Please share your experience.

You purchase the HTP Heel Seats by size. When you place an order you will be asked your shoe size. The retail price for HTP Heel Seats is US$24.95 per pair. Heel That Pain Heel Seats come with a money back guarantee, so if you’re one of the few who don’t get relief, they will accept returns. Heel That Pain has other products as well, including Heel Seat Sandals, Gel Heel Seats, Full Length Heel Seats, Heel Seat Wraps and special compression socks. These insoles and are innovative Jeff, especially if you have an active lifestyle. Plantar fasciitis and other foot pain can hinder you from sporty activities and you won’t be able to enjoy getting out in the woods or hiking on a regular basis. On my opinion, the only true solution to the foot problem is to go for the right footwear with good arch support that suits your activities. Worn out and unsupportive shoes are the culprit of the said foot problem which can be prevented by simply changing footwear.
