Its been somewhat discovered by the Charlotte and Hickory folks, but because its off the road some, it dissuades a lot of impromptu visitors. I went on some of the other trails that just wander the woods, and its is very peaceful with some occasional rock outcroppings. Jacob’s creek that parallels the trail to High Shoals is outstanding.
