If you’re looking for a longer hike, you can continue past the falls on Butter Gap all the way to Cedar Rock, then back down the east side of Cat Gap Loop.

I have hiked nearby including going up to John Rock right next door. Need to add this to my jaunts. A very nice smaller waterfall that I believe Kevin Adams has recommended too.
