Excellent directions and trail description as well as telling everyone what they can expect to see. I was there earlier this year and i included Skinny Dip Falls. I wanted to see Yellowstone Falls. hopefully i will soon. I agree with Chris. Great blog Jeff.

Very nice blog Jeff, as usual! I love this place myself but won’t even think of it as a weekend destination. I hear the same mediocre opinions of Upper Falls it seems. I guess I am different. I particularly like that one. I think on a day when the sky is dark blue with a few wispy clouds around for the backdrop, this makes a wonderful scene. I read somewhere where it is the highest waterfall (elevation wise) in NC. I will have to check on that.
