Thanks Jeff! Living at the beach I sometimes forget you guys have a lot more seasonal changes than we do. I’m guessing the bears will not be bedded down by Nov 9th? We will of course be hanging everything smelly regardless.

Brant, notice the comment about the yellowjackets was made two months ago. There aren’t any yellowjackets in the forest this time of year.

There are a ton of yellowjackets on the path down to the bigger waterfall on Slate Rock Creek, as well as on the trail in that area. Got stung a few times before seeing warnings that someone else had left on napkins in ziploc baggies on the way out and at the trailhead on FR 1206. So at least for the next few weeks please be careful out there and don’t get stung like I did!
