Yes, I'm doing fine. No, I haven't
given up on Lucid Confusion.
I know a lot more than I did three weeks
ago when I last made an appearance.
I've learned what being jobless can do
to your psyche ... not said for melodrama ... there's a certain shroud that hangs over
you. It's a feeling I've not had to experience, fortunately, though it isn't
intimidating. Instead it's enabling.
I've learned some of the inner machinations
of state and federal government. If you play the game by their rules, they can be very
helpful. Be patient, do the paperwork, and they will come through.
And yes, I've learned more professionally.
I completed two classes in the past two weeks. One about tearing apart PCs and putting
them back together. The other about internetworking.
Also, the job search continues. I have
a few interesting leads. The marketplace seems to be awakening somewhat.
I'm not likely to return here with any
more regularity for several more weeks.
Next week I take the first certification
exam, so I will be studying. The following week is another class, then another exam,
then another class, then another exam ... well, you get the idea.
In the meantime, I'm sending out
resumes and applications, responding to inquiries, and keeping my head in the game.
Don't worry about me. I'm doing just fine.
A young lady, wise beyond her years, did a nice job of
describing
the perspective I'm trying to maintain. Good one Candi. Thanks. (and thanks to
Jann, who turned me on to
Candi's post)
