My boss is a remarkable young woman.
Heather King is District Manager for
Hibbett Sporting Goods in western North and
South Carolina. Besides that, she's an all around good egg.
But, what sets her apart is her devotion
to the young men of Special Olympics here in Henderson County. It was nice to see the
dedication she has for the program rewarded with
an
article in the local newspaper this morning.
It's easy to tell that Heather's
athletes truly love her. Many of them come into our Hibbett's store on a regular
basis just to say "hi" to Heather. You can see the disappointment on their faces
on the days we have to tell them she's travelling to another store in her district.
However, when she's there, the faces
light up, the energy builds, and the smiles go from ear to ear. Heather is one of the
big reasons we all have a very happy place to work.
