On
April 20th I found myself without
access to my computer through no fault of my own. At 1:45AM on that day, the next
chapter of Lucid Confusion began. It continues now, from a different geographic
location.
The American system of laws seems to be
one of the best there is. However, that system isn't perfect. I learned a lesson in the
nuance of divorce law these past few weeks.
I was removed from my home, lived in a
motel for three weeks, attended two court hearings that ruled in my favor, yet I now
live in Hendersonville, NC ... 320 miles from my previous home.
Still looking for work. No change in
that respect.
This most recent adventure, from the
inside of a Red Roof Inn, was made tolerable by a most remarkable friend. She was with
me every step of the way. She made sure I wouldn't get down on myself. She helped me
with administrative assistance, even sent me a care package.
Jann, thank you from the
bottom of my heart. You have been my guardian angel.
