Yesterday I travelled 40 miles south to Greenville,
SC to scope out a potential future job opening. The area looks pretty nice. Elevation
is more than 1000 feet lower so the climate will be 6-8 degrees warmer. Nice for the
winter, not so nice in summer.
Tommorow I'm headed back up to the Charleston, WV
area for a few days to talk with a realtor about selling my house there. I'll do
some last minute cleaning then bring the agent in. Probably be back in Hendersonville
either Thursday night or Friday afternoon.
In a couple weeks I'm headed to Gastonia, NC for
two days to setup a new sporting goods store. Activity will be intense ... unloading
trucks of merchandise and filling the store from an empty shell.
Finally, a few days after that ... if everything goes
as planned ... I will begin working that new job in Greenville. I'll commute from here
for awhile, but if it works out well, I eventually plan to get an apartment down
there.
