The long, sometimes agonizingly slow
job search is finally over ... for the time being.
Yesterday I accepted a six month contract
position in the North Carolina Triangle area. It is a computer systems capacity
planning project that will focus on short term requirements and long term automation.
I will be working from offices located
in Chapel Hill and in Research Triangle Park. I start on Monday, August 12th.
In the meantime, I need to get there,
and find a place to live. So today I am packing up all my necessities and will leave
for the Triangle area tomorrow afternoon. Beginning Monday, I will be apartment
hunting.
