Wonderful set of pictures on a wonderful trail. I like the description that included smell and hearing senses. And this time of the year when the leaves are first turning is quite magical. My wife and I were in Tuckaseegee last week end and thought about going up that way in the general vicinity. We ventured southward to Dupont State Forest and took in Bridal Veil and Grassy Creek Falls. Pretty good color in many locations and the water was very high so made the falls more spectacular.
Always so great to see your posts and next year when we stay nearby this one is on the list along with Purchase Knob.
